South Coast Brides is a bridal boutique located on the South Coast of New South Wales, Australia, providing an inclusive and personalised experience for brides of all body types, backgrounds, and budgets. They specialise in a wide range of wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses, and formal wear, with sizes ranging from 6 to 36. Their mission is to ensure every woman feels beautiful and valued, offering one-on-one appointments in a spacious and welcoming environment.
The Process
Kim came to me to update her website to increase bridal bookings, update her bridesmaid selection so that the pre-orders could be bought online and paid for.
It just didn’t look fresh and modern and professional enough
We went through an extensive website strategy where we discovered her business goals and her customers pain points. Whilst also developing a branding guide for online matching her target audience and current logo.
A custom Shopify theme was developed for the store to align with the 2 main Call To Actions – Booking a Bridal Appointment and being able to pre-order dresses.
The Results

We re-sorted and re-tagged all of her products to improve the UX of searching for dresses by Brand and Style/Occasion.
I used her unique position of plus sized samples within her imagery to help building customer trust with inclusivity.
